Live Casino Holdem at Betfair

    I played live holdem at Betfair and noticed one strange thing, After the deck is shuffled and placed in the dealing box, dealer gets it up from the table for couple of seconds. I know that there are devices wich can "read" the whole deck. So it is done to make casino KNOW THE WHOLE SHUFFLE and what hands will win or loose BEFORE the start of the game. Why does they do it?

    May be they do it to prevent big wins? For example if player makes a max bet and they see that there will come quads or Royal Flush that put another player at the table to break the way that cards will come?

    May be there is no crime. May be it is a check of number of cards in deck or something similar. I do not belive that such a big company will cheat. They simply don't need that.
