I am going to Cambodgia and as I know from the neighbour thread they are playing baccarat at casinos there, no my favoutite blackjack.

Is there any books or articles about baccarat strategy? Where to find it?

If you want to play just for fun then Baccarat is really easy game. To be honest it is very close to bet on red or black on Roulette with exception that you can bet on tie(i would not suggest to bet on tie as it is low RTP)

So idea is to predict whose hand will win by having the value closest to 9 (Player hand or Banker hand)
Each hand's value is calculated by dropping the tens digit in a hand otherwise worth 11 or more. For example hand 7 and 9 is only worth 6 in Baccarat (because 16-10=6). Similarly, a face card plus a 9 will be worth 9.
So ten, jack, queen, king = 10

    and the main payouts are:
Player 1:1 ( you bet 10 if you win you receive your 10 back + 10 winnings)
Banker 1:0.95 (you bet 10 if you wind you receive your 10 back + 9.5 winnings) they are taking 5% from Banker winnings to get house edge.
Tie 8:1 (in most variations, but as i said i don't suggest to use this bet)

Thank you for the rules. But I also would like to know the strategy before starting to play.

Baccarat is the most fair game in casino, cos u have around 50/50 chances against the dealer and in some occasions you are in advantage.

Highly recommended for table games lovers (better than blackjack).

What you mean by fair ? :) They are all fair but with different house edge. And yes you are right, baccarat is one of lowest house edges. But the problem is it is little bit boring ;)

That are two names for one game. No any difference.

The only difference is the pace of the game. In baccarat you get to destroy the cards and sweat. The person betting the most on the side is the one getting the cards.

Just doing some reading about Baccarat game and came across "Computer-Perfect Play against the Baccarat Pairs Bet". It is extremely interesting. At my local casino where they have the electronic or "stadium" baccarat, its usual to see players with their phones out the whole time they play.

I have never seen "stadium" baccarat at real casinos... It might be something special for North America I guess.
