What is the point of American Roulette?

    I see on so many casinos that they push the American version of roulette. This version has two zeroes. Are they really just trying to convince patriotic Americans to play a game with a higher edge because it's "American"? Is there more rakeback?

    They just double house edge, that is. And the triple bet on 2 zeros and deuce is most negative possible bet on roulette.

    Thanks for enlightening! I don't play casino games much, and I prefer pokies most of all. Recently I've discovered thekingcasino and play mostly there now. It doesn't offer the American roulette as far as I know, and I've never played it. But now I want to try this version. Can anyone suggest a good site?
