< >

Popular streamer Roshtein has just been banned from Twitch, and fans think they know why.

Twitch is not afraid to ban users when they breach their Terms of Service, and the site has banned some of its biggest creators in the past including Dr Disrespect, Ice Poseidon and Phantoml0rd.

Just last month, gaming streamer Adin Ross was banned from the platform for the fourth time after he was streaming live on his mobile phone whilst driving.

The latest person to lose their streaming rights is Roshtein, but who he is? And why did he get banned? Here’s what we know.

WHO IS ROSHTEIN?
Ishmael Swartz, better known online as Roshtein, is a Swedish casino streamer.

He streams live videos of himself playing casino games on Twitch and often wins large sums of money.

Roshtein has been streaming on Twitch since 2016 as is now one of the most well-known online casino streamers.

He is also big on social media, with 94,000 followers on Instagram and 51,000 on Twitter.

ROSHTEIN WAS BANNED FROM TWITCH
On Tuesday (August 17th), Roshtein was banned from Twitch.

He announced the news on Twitter, simply writing: “Banned on Twitch.”
