The interns will have an opportunity to gain experience in real-life Betsson Group’s challenges at the company's operational headquarters in Malta with over 1,000 employees from 43 nationalities. Moreover, the company has created a strategic partnership with University of Malta which will serve as a platform for education.
Stefan, who successfully passed one of the previous programmes and currently works as a part-time employee of Betsson Group, shared his thoughts on the programme:
“Betsson is the first company that I have worked for. I have been able to develop myself both personally and professionally. I was impressed by the technology stack, the awesome people, colleagues and supervisors always ready to provide their full support, and the cool environment. I have seen companies like Betsson on American TV shows, with breakfasts, multiple talks (including food), dinners, drinks on Friday, and many other events.
“As an intern for the Trading & Integration team I helped to test and integrate new sports and new markets from the providers to sportsbook. Team members helped me to increase my knowledge by teaching me new things and by showing me new ways to approach and tackle things. Also I increased my knowledge in programming languages such as C#.
Little could I know that this sort of culture also existed in Malta … For me being here is a dream.”
